Who we are

We operate this community matrimonial service and act as a Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

Data we collect

• Account: phone number, name, email.
• Profile: gender, date of birth, height, education, profession, diet, gothra/community, complexion, about.
• Photos you upload, and profession/income documents you submit for verification.
• Identity verification status (via a verification provider; we do not store raw identity numbers).
• Location: state, district, city, pincode (we do not store precise GPS). "Near Me" uses your device location once and never stores it.
• Astrology details (Rashi/Nakshatra) if you opt into astrology matching.

Purposes & legal basis

We process the above on the basis of your consent, solely to operate the matchmaking service: building your profile, finding and ranking matches, verification/trust, messaging between mutual matches, and (if you opt in) promotional communications.

Sharing & retention

Your profile is shown to other members per your visibility settings. We retain your data while your account is active and delete or anonymise it on account closure, subject to legal retention requirements.

Your rights

• Withdraw consent at any time (optional purposes via your Privacy & Consent settings; withdrawing the core Terms & Privacy consent means closing your account).
• Access and correction of your data.
• Erasure of your data on account closure.
• Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer.

Terms of Service (summary)

Use the service lawfully and respectfully. Provide accurate information. Do not harass, impersonate, or misuse other members' data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
